About Kate
Kate is married with two children and lives on the East Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Kate has held a deep interest in mental health and it's role in overall health for many years, which has led her to explore both Eastern and Western approaches to well-being.
With education ranging from a Diploma of Health Science, Massage, Kinesiology, graduate studies in Health Promotion, a Bachelor of Social Science – in Counselling and more recently in Functional Neurology.
Kate has held a long term curiosity about how the body functions, is impacted by life and the environment, how it stores information and responds either in behaviour or symptoms. Kate has allowed this curiosity to personally explore yoga, meditation, breathwork, trauma informed research and clinical approaches, Polyvagal Theory, body-based therapies, the power of our imagination, philosophy and metaphor and a various range of body and psychological modalities that she brings together into her work today.
